Obviously this cost more than most diy guys want to pay for a charger. It’s also a bit bigger than the pictures would suggest.

On the pro side, however, it ultimately saves me money.

I have had 3 batteries brick because I would use them hardcore for a few days-weeks then ignore them for a month or so. My power tool needs are intermittent. This charger not only charges VERY QUICKLY but also functions as a trickle charger. It keeps my lithium ion batteries far away from their no charge level. It’s also setup to easily travel should an off site side job present itself. I can simply connect it to my truck during travel.

The only real cons are cost and overall size. Size is a compromise on being able to connect all of dewalt’s different batteries (XR, Powerstack, 60v, etc) side by side however. Understandable.

In summary, great product and will save your infrequently used batteries in the long run.

I run a gutter business and we use only 20v Dewalt tools so we run through the batteries. We have two of these four bank fast chargers and they are exactly as advertised and do the job.

This charger has an intelligent lithium ion charger in it, the batteries will charge their absolute max, and after their charge can remain on for a trickle charge for an extended period of time. Has dual fans to control heat, highly impressed with level of noise and durability. 🤜🤛👍👍

I do a lot in my Man Cavern. Pictured is the first power tool from Amazon in the front with a charger mounted on a backer board and then to the wall. I do that for everything as I can remove whatever and I have a clean wall to reinsert original screws. I don't drill extra holes. I had the charger running all slots earlier and the batteries concurrently charged faster than my original single chargers. Two things not apparent in the product description. The first two slots and last two slots are separate chargers. So if charging two batteries, your choice, but I stick with either left or right. Second is there are fans for both sides, which makes sense if you're pushing that much power. All in all, I'm not having buyer's remorse on this one.

I've contemplated getting this charger for a while as I have a lot of Dewalt power tools and Batteries and finally made the purchase when I converted my kids power wheels vehicles to use Dewalt batteries which they use a lot so this is great to rapid charge upto 4 batteries at a time. Its expensive for just a charger with no batteries included but if your using your tools a lot and draining multiple batteries at a time then this could be a great investment for you!
