Works so much better than expected. We had a blizzard coming so I used one bag on the driveway. Woke up in the morning after 10 inches of snowfall to a drivable driveway. You can seen ours compared to the neighbor across the street. An hour after the sun came up the driveway was spotless and I never needed to shovel.

All claims made the manufacturer seem to be true. Works super fast if I use a larger quantity. Like turn around and the stuff is melted fast. Takes a little time if I use is sparingly but still works great. Doesn’t seem to refreeze after initial use. Will buy again. Highly recommend. Wish I could find it at a cheaper price in the states?

I purchased this as an alternative to regular ice melts, and so far I’m satisfied with the results. The two pictures included are of a freeze-thaw-freeze patch of ice that once was snow pack. After 30:00, this brand of ice melt penetrated all the way to concrete and the patch of ice was easily removed with a push broom. I can’t speak to the pet safe side of this as our dog doesn’t hang around on it long enough for me to give an assessment.
It does not take a lot of product, so no need to be generous when applying or spreading it unless you need to concentrate it in a specific spot.
Bottom line: regardless of what type of snow or ice I applied this to, it melted it or significantly made an impact on it in generally in about 20:00-30:00 minutes. Good Stuff!
