When compared to my Knipex, these are slightly less "smooth" sliding, but otherwise almost identical. No reason for a handyman to pay Knipex prices - get these instead.

Solidly built, feels like a beast. Easy action to adjust the grip. Very much on par with the original knipex plierwrench (which i love alot as well)

Pros: strong, durable, comfortable to use.

Cons: the button that you press to adjust the wrench does sometimes stick & not pop back into place... keyword, sometimes.

Highly recommend!

I have several pair of Knipex, at nearly 1/3d the price of the Knipex these pliers wrench represent a TREMENDOUS value. I just got these and tried them out, they are, for all practical purposes the functional equivalent of the Knipex version. The tool is well build, the handles are very comfortable and they work just as I would expect.

These are pretty much an exact clone of the Kinpex 7 1/4 inch Pliers Wrench. Fit and finish is very good. There was a stain of some sort at the top of the pliers (see photos). But, it wiped clean using a little degreaser. Fit and finish is overall very good. The grip is lightly textured for a good grip. The function is smooth and positive locking. The pliers faces are nice and parallel. When you close them, they meet very flush. So at just about half the cost of genuine Kinpex Pliers Wrench, these are a very good value. If I wind up having any issues with them, I will update this review. So, if you see no update, then you know they are still working great!

Where have these been all my life? I have been watching every plumber use smooth jaw pliers wrenches on youtube and decided I needed a pair. I wish I had ordered one size larger (or both sizes really!) but wanted to test them out first. While the play in the head when open is sloppier than say a knipex, when closed there is no play. Great tool if you do any DIY plumbing.

Commercial refrigeration guy here. Love these. Got the 10” and 7” pair. I have a pair of Knipex ones and bought these because I have a second tool bag loadout I’m piecing together. Lemme tell you, these bad boys are up there with the Knipex. The dark blue also looks slick. Might be my favorite ones lol

So impressed with these being like $20 cheaper than the name brand pliers. These are better than channel locks or knpx the grip on these are fantastic love the high speed adjustments. It’s honestly the one set of pliers you’ll probably ever need. I can literally place them on a nut and it will hold my weight while standing on the back lever incredible grip and very tough one of the best designs and players I’ve ever had. The 10 inch flyers are perfect size for most applications but they do have a smaller ones for A smaller hard to reach job all in all all their sizes are perfect completely functional on every aspect

This is a pair of 10-in pliers. They are adjustable and have smooth jaw with black finish. They are sturdy and strong and look like they will do the job well. I have not used them for a task yet, but they are an addition to my toolbox and I am happy to have them!

The BEST feature of this wrench is that you adjust the size of the opening based on a push of the button.

If you have used other slip adjustable pliers, sometimes the pliers slip when you try to clamp down. These eliminate that issue by having the button to adjust the opening - brilliant!

Otherwise the wrench is like most - high quality and ready for work.

SUPER happy with these pliers - they are my go-to now.

For the price I recommend this over the Knipex pliers wrench. I only have the silver Knipex pliers wrenches, and they are superior to the black ones, but this wrench is nearly identical to their black style. The big difference between the black and silver is the continuous jaws and the extra leverage from the funky shaped nub. These WorkPro pliers have a round nub. The Knipex's have a shaped nub which exponentially increases leverage at the nearly closed position of the stroke. The contact point slides closer to the pivot as you grip. These Workpro's don't do that, but you probably won't notice a difference unless you are trying to crush things with your pliers.
Out side from that, there are minor differences in shapes of holes, reinforcements, etc. that don't affect performance. Unless you are the type that needs to show off your expensive tools I recommend you get the WORKPROs instead.
If you don't have pliers wrenches quit reading and git some. You are missing out. It's the best tool for manual wrenching as long as you have the space. Being able to compress on the flats of a nut or bolt is life changing.

I wish I had a pair of these years ago. This is the best set of pliers I've seen for tightening hex fittings like you see on chrome plated commercial faucets, raintight conduit fittings, brass fittings, anywhere you don't want to mar the finish.

The pliers are well made and the pushbutton slide mechanism works well. Fit and finish is excellent. The flat, toothless jaws have the same black anodized finish as the tool itself. The toggle setup for closing the lower jaw means that it has a small working range at each tooth setting, but once set it will close nice and parallel to the fitting and not chew up the finish. The maximum opening is 2 1/16".

After having to use cardboard and such to try and keep from leaving jaw marks on finished fittings this pair of pliers is the answer I've been looking for.
