I work as a carpenter so often have to demo in tight spaces. All the multitools excell in this aspect. They can get in to some tough to reach places and (with a good blade) can make a hard job very easy. I was hired to remove a top sill plate in a garage that termites had eaten through pretty bad. Even in bad shape the 2x4 was locked into place with huge nails and the weight of the entire roof. I had the corded rigid multitool but wanted cordless so got the dewalt to go with with my cordless bank of tools. Well, the Dewalt went through those nails like butter---at least until the blade started to go bad. The blades usually last about 20 sturdy nails before they start to fail. I was able to get the infected sill plate out and replace mainly because this tool got all the 60 year old nails out with ease. Awesome tool. Buying a Tstak system to carry it and accessories in. A must have for professionals and diy'rs.

I needed a solid oscillating saw for a home wiring project. Bought a cheap corded one, which worked well for a few days until the motor died. Warranty replacement didn't fill me with confidence, so i bit the bullet and spent more on this unit. I have another DeWalt 20V Max tool, and decided cordless was important.

Fast forward to having received this saw and put it to good use. It feels good in the hand, comfortable one-handed, light weight (nevermind the battery), and blade changes are fast. Oscillation is quick and steady, so it's not too hard to set the moving blade right on course. There's a light on the front too, which helps in dark corners. I've used this on wood headers, cut steel nails out of old junction boxes, and cut drywall for old-work boxes. The picture is a demonstration of precise this tool will let you be.

I've had the DeWalt 36V line for >15yrs. That is no longer supported, but I'm still a fan of DeWalt and now if this 20V Max line.

I've never owned an oscillating tool but I can tell this one is high quality. Very versatile. Everyone in the family had a go at the tool and no issues so far. I'm really enjoying my dewalt products.

I got the “tool only” version. Not the 3 or 5 piece accessory added one. Thanks for the reviewer here! It comes with the 1) wood with nails blade, 2) fast-cut wood blade, and 3) universal accessory adapter.
The manual shows instructions for the cut guide arm and block but those are optional as stated. A reviewer listed the 3 guiding items here.
Overall this is a ready to use kit and works very smoothly.

I got this in time to do a bathroom remodel. Extremely versatile tool. I wish I would've purchased sooner. If you have any of the 20v DeWalt line of cordless tools and don't have one of these oscillating multi tools yet, BUY one! You won't be disappointed. I spent too much time debating over a corded or cordless, and at the end of the day, if you have any other cordless DeWalt tools, this is the tool to buy

Bought this on a whim and am so happy I did. Needed to trim the young off of hardwood plank. Did 8 feet in less than a minute. Previously did similar task with belt
Sander and 60 grit paper, that took an hour and made a mess
